Coronavirus - Latest update November 2nd 2020
With the UK entering another national lockdown this week I am open as normal and sending parcels out both to the UK and Internationally.
The volume of orders coming in has much increased (thank you!) and as we near Christmas distribution channels will be even busier than normal.
So generally please be patient, expect a higher chance of some delay and only order on that basis.
UK Customers - I am open for business as usual for UK orders. As a one-man band mail-order only outfit I am proceeding in line with the latest government guidance. Some parcels may take longer to arrive than normal and I am unlikely to be able to replenish some stock items quickly.
Europe, USA & Rest of the World Customers - I am still sending parcels overseas as normal. Please be aware that there may well be ongoing delays due to reductions in aircraft and lower staffing levels in postal services in many countries.
Most parcels are arriving ok but some are taking significantly longer. Much depends on how they are being prioritised and temporarily stored/released by the various different postal services around the world.
You can find out more about deliveries to your country from UK Royal Mail here: country by country info.
Keep monitoring your parcel's tracking code (on www.royalmail.com and your own national operator's site) and contact your local delivery service if parcels seems to be taking longer than usual.
UK Royal Mail are increasing both their domestic & international prices due to CV19 outside of the normal annual increases. So my advice would be to buy items you need when you see them as the shipping costs are likely to rise and potentially more often than usual until this pandemic levels out.
My best wishes during this difficult time for us all and hopefully some sort of new normality will set in before too long.
