Imperial Roman Wargames Army in 1/32 Scale. Hobby Post

Here's some pics from a 'troop review' I did recently.

The fort walls are from Schleich - repainted gray with brick tops. The gatehouse is a converted Helms Deep from the Play Along Armies of Middle Earth Lord of the Rings range.

All the infantry are based on 7cm plastic card squares. The cavalry are on 9cm drinks coasters.

Figures are a mixture of metal and plastic. Main legionaries are from A Call to Arms with different shields.

'Behind the Scenes'

Converted Airfix WW2 watch tower with some added pontoon bridge sections.

Just need to finish my Gauls or Dacians or Germans now to give them some tabletop opposition.

A Call to Arms Marines

Fabbri Praetorian Cavalry

Publius & Fabbri Syrian Archers

Forces of Valor Aux Cavalry

A Call to Arms Legionaries in the front and Praetorians at rear.

Britains Onagers and Oxen.

Thanks Brian. The scorpions are from Fabbri – factory painted metal – picked up pretty cheap from an ebay seller in Germany.

An amazing collection, can’t wait to see the opposition. Who made the scorpions?
