Army of the Dead. 28mm. (Hobby Post)
Here's some pics of my completed 28mm Army of the Dead.
Originally I had planned to just have a single unit of Dead Warriors to help out my Gondorians. However I became aware of the wide range of undead type figures available leading me from a single unit to a much larger stand alone force.
The figures are a mixture of Games Workshop, Mantic Games and Fireforge. Mainly plastic with some metals. Many figures are converted to some degree or another with GW's Morgul Knights contributing many bits.
I built 2 divisions each comprising 2 units of foot knights, 2 units of men-at-arms and 1 unit of cavalry.
This army was very quick to assemble as you would imagine given the simple paint scheme. Basically they were spray undercoated white, dipped in a ghostly blue solution mix I brewed up and then black washed.
