These are the first of my Imperial Roman units to be completed. I removed the original A Call to Arms shields - most of which did not face forward - and replaced with some from Blue Box Elite Command Auxiliaries. Command duo are Publius.
Based on 7cm square plastic card. I did the basing and converting but had the figures painted for me.
Don't study this pic too hard! The downside to replacing the original molded on shields is that it's a nightmare to repair the damage this causes without spending hours per figure doing so - which I didn't bother with.
